At last year's Fortress Firewise summer meeting, several neighbors suggested we do a potluck meeting this year.
So on Sunday, July 9th at 5:00 pm, the Fortress Firewise Association will be holding a FREE chicken BBQ at the end of Fortress Court. Members are invited to bring a potluck dish to share with your neighbors. Also, please bring utensils and chairs for your family.
The primary purpose of this meeting is to learn more about the threat to our homes and techniques to harden our homes and property against wildfire. The Chief of the Amador Fire Protection District, Chief Rob Withrow, will be our guest speaker.
Lastly, the Fortress Firewise Association committee will be showing the new fire emergency escape route located at the end of Fortress Court. The route is to be used if Highway 88, Carson Rd, Woodfern,…
